**I am unable to accept new patients at this time** As a physician, my goal is to perform a thorough diagnostic examination and to develop a treatment plan that allows for improvement in daily quality of life and function. Psychiatric care is my specialty area, but I believe in treating patients as a whole and considering how other medical conditions may be affecting a person's overall mental health.
Given the biologic nature of many psychiatric illnesses, medication management is a major component of my practice. Also, however, most illnesses will respond best to a combination of medication management and psychotherapy. Supportive psychotherapy is provided when appropriate, and patients will be referred for more intensive psychotherapy services.
I do not accept insurance but do provide a receipt that can be filed with his/her carrier if the patient chooses to do so.
