My ideal patient is one with multiple psychiatric co-morbidities looking for a treatment to improve one’s mood, energy, anxiety, and focus. Do you feel sad daily, stopped socializing with friends & family members, perform the bare minimum work tasks, call out of work frequently, and are failing college classes due to not completing school assignments & attendance? Have you been using cannabis to cope with one’s current mood symptoms? Have you failed numerous medications due to side effects & effectiveness? I will help you develop a treatment plan to help you meet your mental health goals and feel content & yourself again.
I can assist you with your mental health goal by getting a thorough medical and mental health history, which will help me develop a comprehensive treatment plan. You are given realistic expectations when it comes to psychopharmacology & are educated that medications cannot treat life skills; therefore, receiving therapy can be highly beneficial.
I work with my clients by listening to his/her/their story and also providing empathy. I always recommend therapy with medication because the combination of both treatments is more effective than one alone. I want my clients to feel hopeful, heard, and motivated to achieve his, her, or their mental health goals after each session with me.
