I have provided services for children and adults since 1977. As an RN I worked neonatal intensive care units and traveled throughout southern Arizona establishing early intervention services for children birth to 5 years age. Observing the lack of mental health care for children and families I completed the Family Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Partitioner program in 2005. I continued to deliver services throughout Arizona and abroad in Germany providing care for active duty military men and women, veterans, and military dependents stationed throughout Europe.
It is my professional practice to provide comprehensive and holistic evaluation. I spend extensive time with individuals and family members to determine diagnosis and develop a treatment plan that is individualized and realistic. I offer genetic testing. I am Board Certified through ANCC.
I recognize there are many aspects to a person's life and being that affect perception, understanding, and reactions to their world. Understanding one's internal and external self allows for more accurate diagnosis, better treatment planning, and successful outcomes.
