My primary objective as a psychiatric provider is to maximize the quality of life through thoughtful, collaborative care. This is achieved by open communication with the health care team and by empowering patients to take an active role in their treatment decisions.
I graduated from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine with my Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013. I then completed a 12 month Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Over the past 10 years I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including inpatient, emergency, & crisis management.
