I am a board-certified psychiatrist (MD) and have a PhD in clinical psychology. Thus, my patients receive integrated mental healthcare with one clinician (intensive therapy and medications-if needed). I have worked at Mayo, Baylor, and Emory. I truly believe in seeing and listening to the individual and not their diagnostic labels. My core areas of expertise are complex trauma, chronic pain, POTS/dysautonomia. I understand how traumatic experiences deeply impact one's psyche and the disruptive effect these have on one's life trajectory. Understanding your life story leads to a much more fulfilling and meaningful life.

I am a strong proponent of reducing polypharmacy. I combine therapy and medication management. I have expertise in treating complex trauma, chronic pain, POTS, women's mental health, grief, suicidality, cancer-related distress, end-of-life issues. I also serve as a forensic subject matter expert related to childhood abuse, workplace and sexual harassment.

I have a deep-rooted passion for empowerment and autonomy. I believe in collaborative decision-making, fostering an environment where you actively participate in shaping your treatment journey.
