Hello, and welcome to MountainView Mind & Mood! I’m Kacie Marenga, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner dedicated to diagnosing and treating children and adults ages 9 and up. I’m glad you’re here.
A little about my background—I earned my Master’s degree from Shenandoah University in 2020 and have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults across various settings, including inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and long-term care facilities. Before pursuing my graduate degree, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Drexel University and worked as an ER nurse at Penn Presbyterian.
My primary focus is accurate diagnosis and treatment. At MM&M, we focus on treating the underlying disease if one exists, as well as, managing symptoms to improve functioning using various psychotropic medications, over the counter supplements, and non pharmacological modalities; all backed by current, evidence based research.
I am a wife and busy mother of three. I understand what it’s like to be a career focused and family-centered parent who wants to provide the absolute best for their family. I understand and empathize with my clients, that navigating the challenging seasons of life can take a toll on our mental health and well-being.
