I work with clients who are looking for symptom relief while also wanting to understand how and why symptoms may be present. I specialize in the treatment of mood disorders (PTSD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar-spectrum disorders) using a framework that seeks to mitigate symptoms through medicine while simultaneously fostering a deeper understanding of the roots of symptoms in the context of one's personal history. I practice in a model that fosters compassionate self-inquiry through insight-oriented exploration. I am a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and Instructor at Harvard Medical School, currently working at McLean Hospital.

I take a multimodal, integrative approach to working with clients informed by fellowships in psychoanalysis and psychedelic-assisted therapy. I utilize principles from psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, internal family systems, somatic experiencing, and Eastern philosophy. I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
