About
I have a deep conviction about the importance and value of therapy, of taking the time to know your inner world and understand what may underlie symptoms, such as anxiety or depression, or repetitive problematic behavior, such as repeated failed relationships. Psychodynamic or psychoanalytic therapy approaches are particularly helpful in bringing to awareness such underlying patterns and their origins, so that it is then possible to change them. All types of life problems and diagnoses respond well to these approaches.
As a psychiatrist, I can prescribe medication, and I integrate medication with therapy, attempting to determine what will best facilitate change.
I do not see anyone for medication management alone. Please call my office phone to see if I am currently able to see new patients.
I bring over 30 years of clinical experience to my work and tailor treatment to the needs and developmental stage of each individual. I am committed to treating each person with respect and dignity, and am able to offer warm, personalized care in a small office setting.
