About
Hello! I am a dual certified nurse practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Practice with Board certifications through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and American Association of Nurse Practitioners. I attended undergraduate and graduate school in Tampa, Florida at the University of South Florida, completing a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing for family practice. I have 15 years of nursing experience, starting as a Registered Nurse at the VA Hospital in Tampa, and then as a nurse practitioner in Internal Medicine, inpatient and outpatient Palliative Care, and outpatient Psychiatry and Mental Health.
I believe in treating the whole person, and truly listening and empathizing with my patients. My style of practice is to include the patient in all treatment decisions and always take time to educate patients about their condition and any medication I prescribe.
I live in a suburb of Tampa and when I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling, swimming, going to the beach, visiting Universal Studios Orlando, reading, and continuing to learn.
