I am a board certified Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist with 20+ years of experience. I graduated in 2001 from St. Catherine’s University with my Bachelor Degree in Nursing. Upon graduation I worked as an RN as an inpatient psychiatric nurse while I pursued graduate studies. I graduated with a MS degree from the University of Minnesota in 2008 where I then completed ANCC certification as an Adult Mental Health CNS.
I provide assessments and medication management for individuals 18+. I have experience mental health concerns including: PTSD/trauma, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, anxiety, insomnia, OCD,psychosis, addictions, and personality disorders. Areas of interest include women’s health from perinatal to perimenopausal conditions.
During an assessment I will talk to you about what circumstances resulted in reaching out for help. I will discuss your history and pair with you to develop a plan to help you feel better. While medications are the primary reason for the assessment I do realize that medications are not always the answer.
