Welcome, I'm Julie Burns, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Farmington, CT. I hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Regis College in Massachusetts and am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am also certified in medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and have specialized expertise in treating substance use disorders.
My clinical training and experience span a variety of settings, enabling me to effectively support clients facing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, dual diagnosis, trauma, and a range of other mental health concerns. I provide both medication management and supportive therapy, always tailoring treatment plans to fit the unique needs of each individual.
