My name is Judy Lau Carino. I'm a dual licensed certified nurse practitioner in adult health & psychiatry. I specialize in working with across the lifespan (ages 14-65+years old) with primarily mood disorders, but my scope extends to OCD, ADHD, sleep, and beyond. I help by taking the time to listen, educate, engage in detailed questioning to address root cause from a integrative/holistic perspective. In our first session, expect a 75-90 minutes intake and future 30 min follow ups. My practice is unique because I individualize care with a less meds is more approach. I am passionate about this work because I see transformation daily.
1. I offer medication management in the psychiatry scope as my main role for the assessment, diagnosis, and treamtent of mental health conditions.
2. I offer short term psychotherapy to bridge those to a therapy provider.
3. I provide education appropriate as a dual certified nurse practitioner in medical/psychiatric scope as necessary.
