JR Mental Wellness Center provides psychiatry services in Maryland and DC, and treats a variety of mental health disorders via medication management. Our group of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) provides psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients ages 6+ throughout Maryland and DC. We see patients with mood disorders (i.e. depression or bipolar disorder), anxiety disorders (i.e. generalized anxiety or OCD), psychotic disorders (i.e. schizophrenia), and others.
We want you to feel like you are part the care team, because you are! We will consider your experiences and circumstances, and use evidence-based practice to give you treatment recommendations. We will always explain the rationale behind said recommendations so that you have all the information you need to make an informed decision about your care.
