About
I am currently offering psychotherapy, with medication management as needed. My approach is broadly psychodynamic, flexibly incorporating perspectives and tools from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and nonviolent communication. My undergraduate degree was in social anthropology from Harvard College. I attended the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program, where I completed medical school at UCSF and a Masters focused on medical anthropology at UC Berkeley.
I am currently in my final year of psychiatry residency at UCSF. Prior to my medical training, I worked leading wilderness backpacking trips for teens and guiding commercial whitewater rafting trips.
