About
Seeking treatment for a mental health concern can be anxiety-provoking! I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner providing initial psychiatric evaluations and medication management. I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment in order to help you through these difficult times. I understand that a person is much more than a diagnosis. Therefore, I believe that treatment involves treating the whole person, not just an illness. I will partner with you to tailor an individualized treatment plan to address your mental health needs. My professional practice is not only LGBTQ+ inclusive, it is also LGBTQ+ affirming.
I have worked at several local psychiatric hospitals and an Intensive Outpatient Program. I have experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder, neurocognitive disorders, and substance use disorders. I am currently accepting new patients for my private practice.
I value the importance of individual and group therapy and will work closely with your therapist to coordinate care, or make appropriate therapy referrals as necessary. Currently, I am an out-of-network provider and I DO NOT ACCEPT INSURANCE - please check with your insurance company to see if out-of-network benefits may apply.
