About
Glidepath Behavioral Health's patients are middle-aged and older and suffer from new onset/chronic mental illness or Dementia. We welcome patients whose chronic medical illnesses complicate the care of their related mental illness. In addition to offering intensive non-medication interventions, we prescribe evidence-based medicines. We successfully reduce and or discontinue medications during the course of treatment and involve the patient/loved ones and primary care providers in treatment plan development. Our model recognizes the impact of geriatric mental illness and dementia on loved ones and we address their needs as well.
Glidepath Behavioral Health welcomes middle-aged/older adults and their loved ones to establish care with our interdisciplinary behavioral health practice. We enjoy assisting patients and families with worsening dementia as well and adult/geriatric mental illness. We follow a whole-person/whole-family care approach and deliver care at home and virtually.
Timely, safe, effective and collaborative care for persons suffering from Dementia and who are experiencing worsening neuro-psychiatric symptoms is a glaring gap in American Healthcare. Having a spouse or parent go through this crisis, which is harrowing for the patient, can also become one of the most difficult experiences of your life as well. Let us help!
