I see a broad range of children, adolescents, and adults in my private practice located in the River Oaks area of Houston. My patients appreciate my accessibility and my skills in managing complex cases. With a strong background in psychopharmacology and advanced diagnostic tools, I strive to blend the art and science of psychiatric care. I believe in personalized mental health care, and in open communication about treatment options. I provide integrated services, including families and loved ones in the conversation to improve outcomes. I also have extensive experience in hospital settings and community outreach and education.
In recent years, I held several leadership positions, including Chief of Outpatient Services and Chief of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Menninger Clinic in Houston. As Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, I supervised trainees and published academic papers on psychopharmacology and the metabolic burdens of psychiatric medication.
With my unique background in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I am prepared to help you and your family along your wellness journey. New patients receive a full 90-minute diagnostic evaluation with implementation of a preliminary treatment plan. Please note that I do not accept health insurance, but will provide receipts for insurance reimbursement.
