I have a passion for working with children and adolescents ages 12 and up. I like to intervene as part of the treatment team as soon as possible to veer outcomes away from substance use disorders or legal troubles as adults. Most adults can identify their struggles first started as children or adolescents. I shine brightest when I know that I am part of the process of changing a young persons life.
I have been providing mental health services to children, adolescents and adults for over 20 years. I have been a psychiatric nurse prescriber for over 10 years. I have extensive experience with those in the mental health population that have severe and persistent mental illness.
Understanding that every child is unique, I work closely with families to diagnose and manage conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.
