My name is Deon and I am a Doctoral prepared Mental Health APRN, practicing in Hartford County, Connecticut, and New York City. My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to better understand themselves, improve their emotional well-being, and take meaningful steps toward a healthier and more fulfilling life. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, mood disorders, stress-related challenges, and difficulties adjusting to significant life changes. I also welcome individuals who need Guidance.
I focus on the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. That is by assessing both psychosocial and physiological aspects of psychiatric problems. These problems can be anxiety/panic attack, feelings of depression, PTSD, insomnia, OCD that causes problems with daily functioning, or feeling out being out of control.
My approach to caring for clients is, with compassion as its vital to reduce fears, boosts confidence, and to help clients find their inner strength. In my practice you will feel safe, accepted, understood and supported, so that you are confident that you have someone to turn to. I work in alliance with clients, it has positive impact on their mental health.
