About
If your emotional states are a puzzle to you, if you feel you are overwhelmed with what you have to face, if you need to talk to someone about things that are hard for family and friends to understand or if you are taking medications that are not helping you prescribed by someone who doesn't really "get it" its worth a try to see if I can help. I've practiced and taught psychiatry at the University for 40 years. That should give you some confidence, enough confidence to risk our getting acquainted.
Quite most psychiatrists today only prescribe medications. I will not rush you. IF medicines seem helpful we will decide on whether and what in collaboration. If psychotherapy is desirable we will work together deciding on focus and goals. Together. I am familiar with and practice most types of therapy.
I take the time that it takes to help you. My 50 years of practice is at YOUR disposal.
