John Leach, MD, Psychiatrist in Little Rock
I'm a licensed medical doctor who specializes in working with both adults and children. I primarily treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and bipolar disorder. I strive to be a conservative prescriber of medications, who is passionate about helping my clients understand the benefits and side effects of anything I recommend. In addition to providing medication management services, I'm also a strong believer in the power of psychotherapy. I'm proud to work with an excellent team of therapists who are available for quick internal referrals if your situation would benefit from individual, couples, or family counseling.
Prior to earning my MD from UAMS (where I'm completing a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry), I earned a BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering from the UA Fayetteville. I'm a member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC's unique treatment model, I offer online scheduling, evening and weekend availability, electronic prescribing and the ability to do some appointments virtually by phone or secure video.
