Hello and Welcome! My name is John Connors, and I am a Board Certified Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with additional training in Family Therapy. I hope to help you work towards restoring and/or creating wellness in the "challenged areas" of your life . My overall goal is to help you to identify concerns that interfere with your potential, and help define a plan of treatment that will help you to think clearly, communicate effectively, act with confidence, and feel better emotionally. As a Physician I approach assessment from a Neurobiologic, Psychological and Social perspective to best understand the context of your strengths and challenges.
Psychiatry is a Medical Subspecialty dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders. My evaluation includes consideration of your Medical health and how it may impact on your symptoms. This may include laboratory testing, and collaboration with other medical providers to provide accurate and comprehensive treatment.
As a Medical Doctor, I am able to assess and provide integrated treatment including therapy and medication for those who are not already in treatment with a non medical therapist. I have over 29 years of experience in my Field and Certification in both General and Child Psychiatry.
