With over 14 years of experience in the healthcare field, I have always felt drawn to the mental health community. From my time spent working for an inpatient psychiatric facility, to the time spent on an acute care medical floor, I have always been fortunate to have the opportunity to be a voice and advocate for these patients. As I embark on this new journey as a clinician in a private office, my goal is to continue to be the advocate and voice for my patients. Through compassionate care, my goal is to give my patients back the life that they feel their mental illness has taken from them.
Through proper medication management, my goal is to work closely with my patients to alleviate any fears they may have about medications, working with them to develop a treatment plan that they feel comfortable following. As a convenience, the clinic offers genetic testing, giving us a better understanding of the medications that will work for our patients.
While it can be intimidating and frightening at times when you are suffering from a mental illness, please know that there is hope. With the proper treatment, you can gain control over your illness.
