I provide collaborative, science-based psychiatric care that begins with careful listening and a thoughtful understanding of your story. I specialize in psychiatric symptoms that arise in the setting of neurologic illness, including changes in mood, anxiety, behavior, sleep, thinking, and memory. I am board-certified in both psychiatry and neurology. I now practice psychiatry exclusively, drawing on my background in these fields to treat psychiatric and cognitive changes associated with neurologic disorders such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia and memory disorders, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, and related conditions.
I offer medication management, psychotherapy, and support related to sleep, stress, and day-to-day functioning. I work with patients—and family members or caregivers when helpful—to understand symptoms and goals and to make treatment decisions together. I am happy to coordinate care with neurologists, primary care clinicians, and other care team members.
