Dr. Jim Pang, Jr. is a board-certified psychiatrist with over four decades of experience delivering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to patients of all ages—from young children (age 3 and up) to older adults. He is licensed in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi, offering specialized expertise across the lifespan.
Throughout his career, Dr. Pang has remained dedicated to collaborative, patient-centered psychiatric care. He works closely with other medical specialists and therapists to create personalized, coordinated treatment plans. He is highly experienced in treating complex psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Pang has particular expertise in geriatric psychiatry, where he thoughtfully addresses the unique mental health needs of older adults with medical complexity and neurocognitive disorders. He understands the importance of treating the whole person and integrating psychiatric and medical care to achieve optimal outcomes.
In addition to extensive clinical work, Dr. Pang served as an assistant professor at the Univ. of Vermont School of Medicine. He served as a psychiatrist and medical director at Lakeside Behavioral Health. Today, he continues seeing patients at Methodist Hospital and Magnolia Regional Health Center, and serves as Medical Director for Delta Behavioral Health.
