When someone is looking for help with their mental health it is important to for a mental health provider to understand what a person is going through and what it took for a person to reach out for help. I am someone that listens and treats people with kindness and respect. I am interested in what the issue is, what the persons goals are and if we can achieve them together. I believe that for a person to have good mental health they also have to have good physical health. In order to achieve this: one needs good nutrition, sleep, and the importance of therapy.
Safe medication management along with supportive therapy is what I provide in my practice. I like to encourage regular bloodwork and an initial EKG for certain medications. I also help with weight loss and bioidentical hormone replacement if appropriate. I do not prescribe controlled substances on first visits and will treat without first.
I am always here to provided the best quality medical care and help refer patients to other providers if needed. I see patients from adolescents to end of life span. I also work with veterans. I am a 20 year Navy Veteran. I work with medications to treat PTSD.
