I see clients from all walks of life, in varying life stages. Many of my clients find themselves feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, disconnected, or unsure of who they are. My approach is centered on listening to my patients' unique stories and working closely with them to set and achieve their personal mental health goals. For some, this may include prescribed medication; for others, it may not. When medication is part of the picture, I aim to use the least amount necessary to achieve our goals.
I specifically have a passion for women's reproductive psychiatry, which focuses on mental health issues related hormonal changes and reproductive cycle transitions, including the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, and during perimenopausal years.
A bit about myself: I'm a mother of two young toddlers and 3x cancer survivor. I have had my fair share of time in the role of patient. In my experience, a hallmark of quality care is a provider who shows empathy, makes you feel heard, and goes above and beyond when necessary. This is what I strive to be for my patients.
