I am a board certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment. I have a special interest in women's mental health issues that include mood disorders related to menstruation, pregnancy and postpartum, as well as menopause and other life transitions. I enjoy providing comprehensive and compassionate psychiatric treatment that may include psychotherapy (talk therapy) and medication when appropriate. I am happy to coordinate with other treatment providers as necessary.
My psychiatric work experience is broad: outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient psychiatric hospital units, medical and psychiatric emergency rooms, and psychiatric consultation in medical/surgical units. I started my private practice in 2007 and recently transitioned to including telemedicine in my practice via doxy.me.
