I specialize in perinatal mental health and gender/sexuality issues, as well as treating mood disorders. Empowerment, education, and providing evidence-based health information to my patients is the core tenant of my practice. I proudly support and advocate for diversity, as an ally for LGBTQIA+ persons. My role as a provider is to help diagnose your mental health issue, provide an array of treatment options, educate you on risks versus benefits, and empower your informed decision making process. I founded Parallel Psychiatry to be able to walk alongside my patients as equals in their health journey, not to dictate but to guide.

I like to learn as much as I can about my patients- There is seldom a single factor contributing to wellness or disease. I believe in radical acceptance: all sexual orientations, genders, lifestyles, age, etc. will feel valued and accepted under my care.
