Hello, my ideal client wants to work with me over time to feel better about themselves and their lives. The client may want to discuss medications for mental health symptoms or may want to share and process past experiences. I will meet them where they are. We will come up with a plan together. If the client is a child we may start with playing a game or coloring. I hope the client will be honest with me and learn to trust me. I've worked with people from all walks of life.
I became a nurse practitioner to help people with their physical health. I quickly learned that helping folks with their mental health is my favorite part of caring for people. I can offer medications, information about conditions and treatments, and supportive psychotherapy. We hope to offer ketamine assisted therapy in the near future.
