Hi, I'm Jessica Henderson. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (CRNP, PMHNP-BC) based in Maryland. I work with all ages (6+ years old) and specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with complex and dual psychiatric diagnoses to include Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Schizophrenia Spectrum and Other Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar and Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, and Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders.
When goal setting, I discuss the individual's goal and expectations. From there, I will give my realistic input. One thing I make clear to all individuals I treat - mental health is a marathon, not a sprint.
The initial evaluation is approx. 60 minutes and follow-ups are 30 minutes. Our first session will be me getting to know you by asking a variety of questions to aid in assessing, diagnosing, and then discussing treatment options for symptoms. Goals and expectations moving forward will also be discussed.
