Jessica G. Rausch MD, MD, Psychiatrist in Tampa
I look forward to working with children and their families as well as helping adults identifying and treating the disorders that affect them. In children the most common disorders involve anxiety and ADHD, but I also have a special interest in disorders in the Autistic spectrum, as well as depression and irritability. The issue of bullying in children has become an area of great interest to me. Adults usually seek help for mood, anxiety disorders or dealing with trauma and loss. I treat bipolar disorders as well as psychotic disorders in children, adolescents and adults.
I was born and raised in Argentina, from an American mother and European father, this gives me an appreciation of the multicultural factors affecting individuals. I have been in academic settings, in Philadelphia for one year, affiliated with USF from 1984 until 1992 when I started my private practice.
As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, I am suited to treat adults, children and adolescents, with a unique developmental perspective. I approach each new patient with a desire to understand her plight and partner with him to try to relieve the symptoms and achieve a sense of well being.
