My name is Jerica Mitchell. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in mental health. I use a holistic and integrative approach to treatment, which may include: medication, supplements, therapy, and life style changes. I typically work with adults ages 18 to 55 who may deal with depression, anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, and/or mood disorders. Patients can expect a direct non-judgmental space. I also like patient involvement in their treatment. My patients will never be forced into a treatment plan that they are not comfortable with.
Psychiatry and mental health was has always been my first choice within healthcare. I started as a psych nurse and realized that the human mind was intriguing. As a psych nurse my passion for mental health grew because I was able to help those who were ostracized because of mental illness.
I welcome my patients to set their own goals. During out first session we will go over your history comprehensively and order labs if needed. From there we will discuss treatment options and prepare a treatment plan.
