My name is Jenny Titus and I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in Worland, Wyoming. I am a Wyoming native and enjoy working with rural populations. I see all ages for medication management. Although I am licensed to counsel, I only provide medication management. My approach varies based on the needs of each client I work with. If we are not able to find the right medication the first time, I often recommend and complete pharmacogenomic testing to help guide therapy. I closely track medical concerns. My belief is that you cannot treat the brain without treating the rest of the body.
Living and working in the Wyoming mental health system since 2001, I have treated all ages. The vast majority of my clients are healthy individuals who are struggling with anxiety or depression that is situational and they do not know where to turn for mental health.
Most Wyoming residents will seek mental health services from their primary care provider first. We are hoping to change that pattern and telehealth is one of the tools that has helped us start that change. I also see clients face-to-face and in multiple settings to improve access to care.
