As a board certified psychiatrist trained in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults, I am passionate about taking a comprehensive approach in psychiatric care through lifestyle changes, psychotherapy, and conservative medication management. I also believe in the importance of treating a person as a whole, which was the primary focus of my medical school education. I completed both the Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where I gained a depth of knowledge in treating a diverse population from all walks of life.
In addition to acquiring expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches from my training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, I also gained a perspective of understanding the patient’s life across different developmental stages from early childhood.
My special interests in treatment include attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, behavioral disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. I also have a special interest in assisting patients with difficulties with adjusting to different cultures. I provide both psychotherapy and medication management that are tailored for individual needs.
