I treat adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and the effects of trauma — many considering medication for the first time or revisiting it after unhelpful experiences, wanting a clinician who understands the full clinical picture before making recommendations.
My dual training in psychopharmacology and clinical social work at Columbia shapes how I practice: careful diagnostic thinking with real attention to relational and lifestyle factors that influence treatment.
My evaluations span two full hours—more time than most practices allow—so there is room for a thorough assessment before we make treatment decisions together. Medication is one tool, not the whole plan. I also address stress, coping, sleep, nutrition, and exercise; refer to and collaborate with therapists; and offer psychotherapy selectively.
