About
Services Offered: Psychotherapy +/- Medications (200$/50 minutes), Medications only (130$/30 minutes), Ketamine treatment (500$/2 hours, includes RN & MD monitoring + costs of medications); Initial intake for all services is 300$ for 90 minutes. Ketamine is given either sublingually, intranasally, or intramuscularly. I am not in network for any insurance companies, but can provide documentation for out of network reimbursement.
Why IM over IV ketamine? In IV treatment, you get a certain dose of medication over 60 minutes. This often minimizes the psychedelic experience of the medication. In my practice, we believe the psychedelic experience is actually part of the healing and we don’t want to minimize it. We give the same dose you would get in an IV session via 1 injection.
This way you also do not have to be attached to an IV the whole time. Based on current literature IM administration is as effective as IV particularly for refractory depression and it’s much easier for the patient.
