A board-certified doctoral prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner with 13 years of experience in diagnosing & treating mental illness. I specialize in women’s mental health throughout the life cycle, including in pregnancy & the postpartum. For the past 10 years, until recently, I worked in a fast-paced urban university setting with undergrad & graduate students. Issues ranged from anxiety, depression; SOGI-related; trauma/PTSD; executive (dys)function/ADHD. I offer traditional (RX, therapy) & complementary treatments (diet/supplements, exercise, sleep, lifestyle, etc.). Combined med & psychotherapy or either alone is available.
We can do genetic testing to determine drug metabolism & response, potentially saving months of med trial & error. Therapeutic interventions include EMDR to alleviate trauma symptoms. Cognitive & dialectical behavioral strategies to address mood regulation. We will collaborate to determine your goals of treatment.
