Not currently accepting new patients (new patients will be added to a wait list). I am a double board-certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist practicing in Hickory, North Carolina. I completed adult psychiatry residency at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School and child/adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Duke University. I typically see ages 5-35 years (I will sometimes make exceptions to this, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions). I offer in-person and telehealth appointments though request that all new patients be seen in-person in my Hickory office. I enjoy taking a strengths-based, patient-centered, and collaborative approach. I offer medication management and integrate therapy interventions. I collaborate with local therapists/professionals to provide whole-person care.
I believe in understanding individuals holistically. As an avid reader and writer, I recognize the power that the narratives we tell ourselves and each other can have on our well-being.
