Jennifer Eckhardt is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, board certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in nursing at Wright State University. Prior to receiving her PMHNP, she has over 18 years of experience as a nurse working in addiction in pregnancy, inpatient behavioral health, and labor and delivery. While working as a nurse in addiction, she felt the need to further her education about mental health disorders in order to make an impact within this community.
She believes that psychotherapy is an important piece in holistic care of managing a client as well as medication when indicated. One of Jennifer’s main goals is to build therapeutic relationships with her clients.
