As a clinician-scientist board-certified in Addiction Medicine (Preventive) and Family Medicine, I believe that treating addiction is an essential part of comprehensive healthcare. My approach centers on meeting patients where they are—whether through prevention, harm reduction, or recovery support—to help them achieve their personal goals.
I specialize in the treatment of substance use disorders, including opioids, alcohol, stimulants, benzodiazepines, and cannabis, as well as behavioral addictions such as gaming, gambling, and internet use.
My practice integrates a holistic and realistic approach, combining evidence-based therapy and medication management when appropriate. I strive to provide a safe, accepting, and trauma-informed environment, utilizing cognitive behavioral and related therapeutic modalities to support lasting change.
In addition to my clinical work, I serve on the faculty of the Yale Program in Addiction Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine since 2015, where I am currently an Assistant Professor Adjunct in Internal Medicine. I am also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Nursing and an active public health researcher and practitioner.
