About
Jenna Grimm is board-certified as a nurse practitioner in both psychiatric-mental health (PMHNP) and women's health (WHNP). She received her master's in nursing degree from Boston College in 2010 and her psychiatric-mental health post-masters certificate from George Mason University. She was previously employed as a women's health nurse practitioner for over 11 years at an OB/GYN practice. She transitioned to working as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner 1 year ago for LifeStance Health, former Atlantic Counseling Group, in Ashburn.
Her practice not only focuses on women's mental health issues - such as pregnancy-related anxiety and postpartum depression - but also ADHD, anxiety, and depression in both men and women including adolescents. She performs medication management and individual therapy sessions.
She encourages client collaboration in the development individualized treatment plans through a strong therapeutic relationship. Medication management includes monitoring medication effectiveness and side effects in a holistic approach, helping clients to heal by focusing on the entire person and taking their individual life experiences into consideration.
