I have been in the mental health field for over 30 years and am continually impressed by the strength of the human spirit. I am open minded and don't have any preconceptions about an individual or the problems they present with when I meet them at their first visit. Psychiatric services are more difficult to find than ever before while modern day stress has increased demand for quality services. I feel strongly that psychiatric assistance should be easier to find than it is. I also believe that people from all backgrounds, financial circumstances and with varied problems should have equal access to quality mental health care.
My expertise pertains to the emotional consequences of chronic stress including domestic violence, child abuse and chronic medical illness.
