Jeanne Van Eepoel, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She obtained a Bachelor’s in Chemistry in 1994 from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA then worked as a chemist for 6 yrs testing pharmaceutical raw materials. She then went back to college and obtained her Bachelor’s in nursing in an Accelerated program at University of South Florida in 2008. She continued her education at University of South Florida to obtain her Master’s in Nursing in 2010 for Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Tampa, FL.
Jeanne has over 15 years if clinical experience working in a number of diverse settings including inpatient rehab, alcohol and substance abuse treatment both inpatient and outpatient, detox center, chronic mental health conditions in the outpatient setting.
She will also work with the client through psychoeducation on brain chemistry, thought processes, and how medication and/or therapy can help them improve their quality of life and attain a sense of fulfillment. She believes that positive change is possible for the client if both the practitioner and client work together to help the client achieve their goals
