Hi! I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I received my master's from Florida International University (FIU). I have been practicing as a PMHNP for 7 years. I have diagnosed and treated patients from all age groups and for most common psychiatric conditions such anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychosis, ADHD, ASD, OCD, PTSD, and substance abuse( opioid use disorder and alcohol use disorder in maintenance treatment). But under this platform, I will see patients from 13 years old to 65 and up.
On the other hand, I am also a Foreign Educated Physician and Pharmacist. I treat my patients using a holistic approach. Most of my clients are fascinated when they know recovery is possible with psychiatric disorders as soon as they are adherent to their treatment plan.
Having worked in the mental health field for 7 years in the US, I have developed the following skills that may interpreted as strengths: compassion, empathy, active listening, being humble, courtesy, emotional resilience, holistic thinking, and availability. I also let my patients know upfront about what I can do and cannot do.
