As a psychiatrist and therapist, I help people dealing with a range of questions, including deciding who and how to love, how to create family and community, finding meaning and success in work, how to cope with loss, issues related to gender, identity, and race, and how to overcome anxiety and depression.
My training includes completing medical school and residency at Baylor College of Medicine. I have also trained in mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy, completing a two-year post-graduate fellowship at the Houston Center for Psychoanalytic Studies.
The treatments I use are supported by scientific evidence, and may include medications, therapy, or both. I will collaborate with you to identify your values and support you in choosing your unique path to self-discovery and growth.
