I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Currently accepting NEW patients. I use a holistic approach in the treatment of mental health combining medication and talk therapy to help you work through and process challenges. As an RN I am also familiar with Complementary and Alternative Medicine options. I believe it is important to treat the whole person (mental, emotional, physical, professional and spiritual) - and involve you in all decisions to reach your goals. If medications are needed, I can prescribe them.
I have nearly 15 years in mental health experience in acute, critical and chronic settings.
Our office endeavors to make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in the door. I enjoy working with people from all walks of life with a special love for our veterans and their families. As the wife of a retired USAF Msgt, and having worked at the VA for 5 years, I am familiar with the unique struggles of our military and their families.
Whether you are experiencing a new or longstanding challenge, I believe that together, we can make it better. First appointments are 60-90 minutes to allow time for you to share your story. My office is located on the entry level of the Wilshire Building in Bellevue, NE across from the Bellevue city offices. I look forward to working with you.
