For patients not using insurance, initial assessment $120/60 min., follow-up medication management $60/20 min, follow up medication management with therapy $120/60 min. I am a nurse practitioner specially trained in psychiatry and mental health (PMHNP). In our current medical system, PMHNPs and psychiatrists mostly help people with diagnosing mental illness or distress and then prescribing and managing medications if needed. I provide therapy services but I encourage patients to add further counseling and support as needed.
