My name is James Valinoti. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP-BC. I see clients across the lifespan including young children. I treat numerous areas of psychiatry including, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD and Trauma, sleep and appetite, Schizophrenia, and disorders involving: OCD, ODD, personality, and eating disorders. I also treat addiction.
I try to make the experience a positive, supportive and at times fun one. I am very clinical but I remove the "clinical feeling" from the experience. I am very client focused and develop unique treatment plans that actually help them achieve their goals.
Utilizing a team-based approach, I work with my clients to learn where they are and where they would like to be. I provide good feedback and we oftentimes work through several iterations of short, medium and long term goals.
