My journey into mental health began with earning my Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 2006. As a social worker, I developed a strong foundation in understanding the emotional, social, and environmental factors that impact well-being. I later transitioned into nursing in 2011 and ultimately became a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). For more than eight years, I have provided psychiatric care to adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns. My areas of focus include ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, mood disorders and PTSD.
The best mental health care begins with listening. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I provide medication management while also emphasizing healthy lifestyle habits, coping skills, and coordination with your therapist and other healthcare providers to support your overall well-being.
